چکیده
This study was carried out to determine the growth and reproductive characteristics of Garra rufa Heckel, 1843 infested with Paradiplozoon bingolensis Civanova et al., 2013 in Göynük Stream, Bingol. A total 267 G. specimens were caught by a casting net between March 2015 February 2016. The length ranged from 8.5-19.1 cm weights 5.8-58.7 g. most intensive catching population 12.0-12.9 (30.0%) 15.0-19.9 (25.2%) g groups. mean condition factor determined as 1.126±0.151 (0.607-1.646). length-weight relationships calculated W= 0.0205 × TL2.758 (r2 = 0.891). M: F ratio 1:1.15. sexual maturity recorded 13 for males 14 females. Additionally, detected on only 218 this population. Of these positive samples, 173 P. isolated male fish while females had 228 bingolensis. Therefore, female be more predisposed infestation (p˂0.01).

Paradiplozoon hemiculteri (Ling, 1973), a member of the Diplozoidae, parasitizes the gills of Asian fish. Not only is the type material unavailable for this species, the original description was poor and somewhat conflicting, and adequate molecular data were not available. What is more, the available morphological and molecular data are inconsistent and fluctuate significantly. Here, we present...
